so many new happenings in london
wow, so so much has happened in the past couple of days that it makes me exhausted to think about it all!
first of all, I woke up monday morning in so much pain that i could barely move, so of course i didn't go to class. I thought that maybe I could just get through it, but that was not the case at all. In any case, I ended up in the hospital for several hours because I was concerned that it might be apendicitis (spelling anyone?).
they gave me morphine for the pain, but they couldn't tell if it was my apendix or not, so they sent me home. I am fine now, but I haven't been to class since monday (today is wednesday) because of the pain and because of the fact that i am still really weak.
the same day that i got sick, my roomate came back from class limping because she had hurt her knee, so she couldn't go to class today either because our class consisted of a 5 hour walk.
also that day, katherine, the colombian girl that also lives in our house found a lump on her neck and so she was freaked out, but she is fine now too!
our host mother, terry, was freaking out! she said that she'd never had all of her students sick at once like that.
terry was great, though. she came to the hospital with me and stayed there with me, and made me tea and stuff. i am so glad that i ended up in their house, because they didn't have to do any of that stuff for me.
so i know that this is a really rambling entry, but since i have missed class today, i am doing my laundry and i have to run back over there now.
