london, ireland, and beyond!
so apparently only half of the following entry posted...so in short i saw
guys and dolls starring ewan mcgregor and it was awesome!! we stood in line for three hours in the rain and cold to get tickets, but it was wroth it cause we got cheap tickets that were in THE FRONT ROW! it really sucks that this all didn't post, but the jist is here!:
supposed to be in new york, but all of the actors, except jane krakowski, were british, or in the case of my friend ewan, scottish. jenna and i kept listening to hear their accents,and everyone except ewan kept slipping up. it was so funny. for the most part they did an excellent job, after all, who i am i to judge, even with all of my accent talent ( i do use the word talent loosely, hehe)
so, so far that was the highlight of my trip. today we booked trips to paris and dublin, so that,despite the excellent deals that we got, was incredibly expensive, so i'm glad at least that we got the cheap theatre tickets.
oh! one more thing! i am living in north london in an area called east finchley, and the other day they found one of the bomber's cars (from the second set of attempted tube attacks) like 5 minutes from my house! it was crazy! i guess all that they found was some chemicals that could be linked to the set of bombs that didn't go off, so at least there weren't any explosives or anything, which is good. but i guess that is east finchley's claim to fame now!
in any case, i hope that everyone else's summers are going well! talk to you all soon!
