A letter to me from my conscience.

Noelle- breathe. Stop worrying so much over things you don't have any control over. Your life? Sure you make your own decisions, but you usually tend to make the right ones anyway. Where you'll end up? You know that's up to God and His plan for you. So relax. you have nothing to stress over- especially now that you don't have to worry about your GPA until August. What are you really worried about? Proverbs 4:23: "Above all else, guard your heart for it is the wellspring of life." Ok, that's one big one you should worry about: however- you admit it to yourself, but do you let on how you really feel? You try not to- so you are guarding that heart of yours. Proverbs 3:5: "Trust in the Lord with all thine heart and lead not unto thine own understanding." mmm that's a big one- you're not doing a very good job of that. I can tell you that right now. Worry worry worry....you do that an awful lot; Matthew 6:25-27: "Therefore I tell you, do not worry about your life, what you will eat or drink, or about your body, what you will wear. Is not life more important than food, and the body more important than clothes? Look at the birds of the air; they do not sow or reap or store away in barns, and yet your heavenly Father feeds them. Are you not much more valuable than they? Who of you by worrying can add a single hour to his life?" Listen to that. Are you saving anyone by worrying? By you worrying about what you're going to wear prolong your life another hour? No. Noone cares about that. Are you clothed? Yes. Then there you go. Matthew 6:34: "Therefore do not worry about tomorrow for tomorrow will worry about itself. Each day has enough trouble of its own." See that? Jesus spoke those words Himself to you! Why you insist on ignoring it, I don't know but you realize it, or you wouldn't be writing this to yourself. So you don't really have an excuse not to listen. You know, mom's right- you are thick-headed. For a woman who spends as much time as she can reading her Bible (although, you have been slacking significantly), are you actually listening to it? Sure you memorize verses and hold certain ones dear to you, but do you really and truly accept them and believe them and remind yourself of them? No. Because if you did, you wouldn't worry the way you do. You wouldn't feel sick all the time and you wouldn't agonize over miniscule things. Come on, Noelle, buck up. You're so good at controlling yourself- holding youself back and your feelings and letting things pass you by believing that if they were really meant to be, they would have been whether or not you did anything about it.
What are you so worried about? Why don't you do this: Stop worrying and just live day by day, moment by moment and enjoy the stinking ride? YOu know that one thing that has been eating at you for weeks? It's going to be ok...You know it's going to be ok...you've been watching it unfold for two years into something utterly beautiful. If you keep worrying about it, you're going to miss it and then you're going to regret it.
Stop trying to fill the voids because you're being impatient- Patience is a virtue- why don't you take that one to heart.

Looks like you've got your work cut out for you, but you'll do just fine; you always do.
