How odd- with Mother's encouragement, I've just set up my laptop where our old desktop has been lying, dead to the world for the last few months. So now I have a proper chair, back support if I want it (not that my perpetual slump will improve), and even a mouse. Golly gee. Plus, I have the pilot of Buffy playing in the background. How adorable is Giles, especially back before we knew about the whole 'Ripper' thing, when he was just a tweedy nerd.... *gazes*

(hmm- the problem with having a mouse attached to a laptop is that I keep trying to use the touchpad thingum, and then get confused when it doesn't work...)
I appear to be on my own for the next 24 hrs or so, which is Nice- I love my parents, but my sanity needs these breaks every so often. I get to cook for myself (which I kind of love) and watch all the episodes of QAF that I want free of parental intrusions. (booyah) I've been keeping tabs on the poll I recently put up re: the new icon- please go vote if you haven't done so already. ;) It seems that for many of you, the whimsical nature of Option 1 won you over, although for a plucky few, the classiness of Option 2 was dearest to your hearts. I'm beginning to consider a compromise, but we'll see....
I am certainly thrilling company these days, eh?
Alright, I am starving, so I'm going to go heat up some leftovers. Mmmmm.
(HAHAHAHAHA to the mid-90s fashions on display in S1 of Buffy)
ETA: So I just picked up my first snowcone of the summer- margarita flavored from the little shack on Oak Park. Now, if things were as they should be, I'd be in heaven. As it is, it is bright green and tastes almost, but not entirely, unlike a margarita. Hmm. Ah well. Such is life, and a green tongue to boot.
And one last thing- I am desperate for a complete recording of Bach's Mass in B Minor. I have about half the tracks and it is not enough. If anyone happened to have a copy lying around, they could save my life.
