HELLO HELLO I DO NOT WANT TO REVISE MY THESIS DRAFT ANYMORE!!!!!!!!

Argh. Sorry about that. I am having a DEVIL of a time working on this revised draft- I've gone through the whole thing on my own and cleaned up what I can, but my last chapter remains a hot mess and I am utterly unsure how to fix it. It feels very much like what it is- a collection of interesting points that I threw onto the page willy-nilly, hoping that everyone would be too bored after 80 pages to pay too much attention. I haven't heard back from Prof Big Cheese about the second half of the draft at all yet, so I feel justified in waiting for his notes before I tackle it.

I DO have feedback from him to work through on the first half- he isn't happy with my introduction, so that's three pages to redo, and I need to refocus some of my history to better include the work of Patrick Tucker and his Original Shakespeare Company. This last element caused some concern when I first read his comments, but after a carefully worded email yesterday, BC soothed my unquiet spirit and better explained what he had in mind. There are also some minor tweaks to make and it all seems SO FEASIBLE in theory.

I just.

DON' WANNA.

*IS THREE*

I have also been grading more midterm exams and MAN OH MAN is it depressing to see how many kids are missing the question based on material I personally covered with them. YAY TEACHING! \o/ Speaking of, I stopped by the school where I used to work this afternoon to pick up a paycheck from the Shakespeare program and EVERY TIME I visit, it makes me go all WIBBLY and NOSTALGIC. I know that I was going crazy by the end of my three years there and that leaving was absolutely the right decision, but. BUT. Grad school offers PRECIOUS LITTLE opportunities to be MOBBED WITH HUGS when you pass in the hall. That school is filled to the brim with good people and I was a lucky duck to be part of it. It is therefore little wonder that I miss it, but MAN I MISS IT SOME DAYS..

LE SIGH.

I feel I should also note my DESPERATE ATTEMPT to watch all of S2 of 'Arrested Development' before it disappears on Hulu at the end of the month. While I dug this show from the first episode I saw, I have been quite lazy when it comes to actually, you know, WATCHING IT. I watched S1 a year ago and then saw the first two episodes of S2 and then... stopped. WHATEVER I AM CATCHING UP NOW WATCH ME GO.

Ok. I am going to try and focus and bang out a new intro and be good and productive and overflowing with milk and honey virtue and other such things.

TO THE THESIS! TALLY HO.
