I woke up this morning feeling sicker than yesterday, but now my throat hurts a little less ^.^
Today was overall, pretty average (so this post will probably be much shorter than the last). I couldn't go to see a group of my friends because I live so far away from my life : P I need to figure out public transportation a little better v.v I can get to my cousins house incredibly easy on weekdays though 8D... Anyways... I've been missing these meetings with my friends so frequently. We meet once a week, and this is the third time in row that I've had to miss. I miss them all so much v.v, and I feel bad >.< But hopefully I can figure out a route to my friend's house where we meet :3
I've been playing Final Fantasy 7: Dirge of Cerberus. I'd tried playing it before but gave up because I couldn't beat a boss, and the camera controls were pissing me off xD This time around I realized that I could invert the camera controls, so it was a lot easier 8D. My brothers enjoy watching me play it, which is funny, because I usually get bored watching other people play video games. My favorite character so far in Dirge of Cerberus is the kitty x3 I love the part where you get to be him, and sneak around!
(My cat, Gregory, just came into my room >.< <3)
Today I mostly watched NCIS, just because it was on for hours and hours. I love it >.< and I hardly watch TV... Especially during the school year D: During school I hardly watch TV at all... But yes, NCIS is great.
I've also been on a Kanji rampage. I really need to learn all of the readings for the kanji... My teacher doesn't really teach by on-yomi and kun-yomi. She just randomly introduces kanji and tells us one reading for it. So I decided to practice a whole bunch of them, and spent a lot of today doing that. I borrowed a kanji book from my sensei two years ago (lmao, so did Shinji), so I've been using that. A lot of today's kanji was review, but there were some that I didn't know both readings of, so it's been plenty helpful. My goal is to finish up the book by the end of the year. I've been really motivated to practice some Japanese lately. I don't want to forget it all over the summer!
I made a vegan chocolate cake again, because I was bored. It turned out well, but it's so hard to get out of the pan >.< I used a different pan than usual since whenever I take it out of the double layer cake pans it breaks. This vegan cake is much less stable than Betty Crocker >.>
(Now Peachie, my other cat, came to visit me ^.^... She's got leaves all over her though.)
*sigh* Any time I think about future careers I get so anxious. There are so many jobs that sound interesting to me, so I'll list them out!
1. Artist
2. Art/Biology/Japanese High School Teacher
3. Fashion Designer
4. Hair Stylist
5. Eye Doctor
6. Pastry Chief
7. Someone who works out in the ocean on boats.
8. Marine Biologist
9. Crime Scene Investigator (;D)
10. English teacher in Japan
11. Etc. Etc. Etc.
I know there's more, btu I can't always remember... I've also actually considered the job of doing autopsies to find out how people have died. I thought that would be interesting because anatomy, and the human body is really interesting, and it would be a job that can really help people. However, I don't think I'd be able to do that everyday... And I'm worried I'd miss something. The occupation I'm most seriously considering is Eye Doctor. I'd love to be a high school teacher, but with how the payment is going, I'm worried I wouldn't make enough to support myself or a family if that ever comes around. Also, art is a pretty competitive field... I think if I'm an eye doctor, I'd be able to do art on the side, and I'd make enough to survive comfortably. I don't want to be rich, I just don't want to have to worry about finances all my life. Hmm... I have plenty of time to decide, but I feel as if everything is closing in on me at high speed!
I feel like I should add more onto the zombie/monster (I haven't decided) story I've been writing... So I'll probably do that at some point. The beginning was actually very fun to write, even if it's cliche and not particularly good or scary... Taking Creative Writing Really helped me, I think. I still have some of the papers and stuff too! Maybe I'll post some of my writing in here eventually. I could edit my crappy Ode to Spiders. My teacher liked it, so maybe it's not as bad as I thought it was. Plus... I still like the idea of having written an ode to spiders while everyone else hates them so much ;D They really are cute, and beautiful creatures.
I also really should be watching Lost... I barrowed seasons 3 and 4 from my grandparents monthes ago, and still haven't finished them. Me and Shinji were having Lost marathons for a while, but that kind of died out.
My cactus is still wilting.
