Continuation of a thought.

As humans, it's our natural ability to become attached. Whether it's to people, things, memories, or moments, we all get attached. That's why there's no use trying to detach yourself from everything. Even if you try and remain unattached, the most it will ever be is a lie, because deep down, we all grow fond of things and come to care about them. ( Read more... )

I wish it was easy for me to think like that... it's like... you're happy you at least got to know someone and you had/have someone like that in your life but sometimes you just can't stop being upset about it, even though you can't change it? I mean at least if we feel the same way. I am glad you have grew to think that way though, everything in life happens for a reason. It's good to try but sometimes things just end? but it doesn't mean it's a bad thing... ok most of the time, anyways ( ... )

Yeah, feelings always mess everything up lol, at least when you're going through it. But when you look back on everything that happened, it makes a lot more sense. I know there are a lot of people that I've basically cut ties with in the last few years, a lot of them were people who I thought I'd be friends with forever. But at the same time.... people change, you know? If things change to the point where you no longer get along, sometimes it's better to just end it while you still have the happy memories. And even if it was someone that you really didn't want to part with, it still ends up better in the end because you both grow from it and you learn to be able to get along with people other than just them, if that makes sense ( ... )

Yeah, feeling pass but at least you have memories and experience. And yes, I couldn't agree more with you. I guess the part of being happy is to be able to let things go, even people when the time comes. (I'd write more but I am just too tired to write anything, and i would probably make a fool out of myself).

Aw, it makes me really glad to hear that since I can say the same about you so I am glad I could help at least a bit. Ah, very true. Friendship and bond are a bit more than just words, after all.

Rofl, really? I guess it's kinda cool then, haha. (I mean about the vibe thing).
... and yes, I love Fairy Tail! I am all hyped up for the current arc, it gets better and better. Though, I have been actually thinking of that username for awhile now but just recently I started catching up on FT episodes (Edolas, Island and Future arcs) and decided to go with it in the end, I have been kind of tired of being roax everywhere. (Though I am not that big of a fan of Grimoire Hearts, do not be mistaken, rofl).

I think happiness is really just being able to be content, in the end. Like, if you can just be happy with what you have, even if it's not the best, then that's what really matters. If that makes sense. (I just got out from work so yeah not thinking straight lol ( ... )

It does make sense, but being happy with whatever you have is truly hard. You know how people rarely even realize they could have less than they have now, even if it's bad. People just want to have it easy and if they didn't learn stuff like that the hard way... D: But I do agree, people need to appreciate more what they have than want more because some don't even have that much. (Or they could end up with less than they have now, lol ( ... )
