Hello again! Well, I managed to make it for my Sunday deadline this week. So, I've been working on a gift for some time, which has lead to, not only a lack of variety about my work, but less refined drawings (mostly just rough sketches have been done when not working on this project). So what is it that has been taking up all of my time? Let's have a look...
Paris, the city of lights! I believe I mentioned this back a while ago, a customized CD I made for my uncle who is going off to Paris soon. I'm not really sure what possessed me to make an entire CD, not to mention the CD case and booklet that goes with it, but I figured it was a neat thing to have, you know, get into the atmosphere of Pareè .
There are ten songs in the album, seven of which have lyrics to them. I put both the French and English translations in there.
Most of the songs come from Pink Martini, a group that has a very international theme about their music. Luckily, the have lots of songs in French. The others are all instrumentals from the movie
Bottle Shock (P.S., Alan Rickman plays the snobby wine connoisseur. It's a load of fun to watch!) Here are links to the songs if you are curious:
1. L'academie du Vin (could not find a link)
2.
Sympathique 3. Just Outside Paris (no link)
4.
Dansez-Vous 5.
Autrefois 6.
Ojala 7. Maurice Predicts (no link)
8.
Syracuse 9.
Ou est Ma Tete? 10.
