Trip day 3
Despite our best efforts (haha) to go to sleep a bit earlier, we ended up staying up till 3 AM again playing Crash Bash. We woke up in stages starting at 11:00, but we were slow in starting and it took awhile for the day to begin properly.
driveshaft went to the pool and read her book while Jason applied for jobs. At my insistence, we all went to Wally World and got a second lamp for the dining room. Then we went to the bank and the grocery store. Damn, this sounds incredibly boring when I think about it, but it didn't seem that way at the time.
When we got back from the errands we had lunch: paninis, salads and sun chips. Then we went over to my parents' house and took another walk, in a different part of their neighborhood. After that we watched the second half of Two Towers. Tonight for dinner we're having meatballs and capellini with sauteed new potatoes. We'll probably play a board game later, but who knows, maybe we'll actually get to bed before 3.
