This rain has turned into something quite unexpected. It seems one can't even travel through the hallways without becoming drenched. The bottom of my robes were soaking wet before I made it to my destination.
A little rain never killed anyone though. Most of you should know a charm for properly drying yourselves by now. If you haven't learned it yet, ask a Professor or fellow student to help you out.
I'm sure everyone has heard the news by now. Hufflepuffs will be staying with the Gryffindors and Slytherins will be staying with Ravenclaw house until further notice. Should anyone need help finding your destination, don't hesitate to ask for help.
With the condition of most students belongings, I'd say you're better off not worrying about them at the moment. Secure your lodging arrangements first and check in with your Head of House, so they can keep track of you all.
Professor Crane and myself have our hands busy down here, contending to issues as it is.
