I wrote a post this morning about hot dogs and baseball. The
Yahoo! fantasy baseball league I've been playing in for four years now (this will be my fifth season) is holding its draft on Sunday. But I composed the post on my iTouch and sent it via mobile post and I don't see it now. Anyway, I mentioned in that post that I had bought a package of hot dogs at the grocery store the other night in anticipation of draft day. I have leftover sauerkraut from my St. Pat's Reuben fixings to finish off and still some mustard relish. I don't know why hot dogs have come back into my life in the way they have. I guess it's because they are relatively cheap and easy to cook. I generally fry up a couple in the nonstick skillet. Also, I have a bottle or two of
Narragansett Lager that is just seeming very Spring-y to me now. I took Sprout for a walk today and was listening to music on my iTouch. It was quite a pick-me-up. Some old college-days tunes -- Pixies, Letters to Cleo -- and that Avett Brothers song, "I And Love And You." Oh, Brooklyn, Brooklyn, take me in.
