I hate giving my email address over the phone. It's "santa fe" but unfortunately both Ss and Fs are hard letters to correctly distinguish. So I usually say "Santa Fe like the city in New Mexico."

Yeah... that would seem like a good way to go, except it is amazing how many people don't know how to spell Santa Fe.
