Hopes - For this purpose defined as good things that have a realistic chance of happening but that I can't really control

• That my friends at church whom I've been trying to fix up will start dating, start dating seriously, get engaged, get married, or all of the above
  
• That The Guardian Race will be released
  
• That I get to be Marian Paroo in The Music Man next spring
  
• That my family get me the serger I'm planning on asking for for Christmas (hint hint to my sister who reads this blog)

Dreams (and silly daydreams) - Stuff beyond the horizon

• Meeting that special someone
  
• Awakenings picking up significant numbers in book sales
  
• Awakenings selling so many copies I can quit my day job. ;-)

Plans - Aha. Here is where I really shine.

• Finishing Book 4 draft (and major edits)
  
• Loosely plan and at least begin writing Book 5
  
• Getting Shakespeare's Basement ready for agent/publisher submission
  
• Going to church camp in Indiana as a counselor
  
• Being in The Music Man in the spring, regardless of role
  
• Making a River Song costume (Byzantium evening gown)
  
• Starting the Superhero project with melyanna. Hard to quantify just how much, yet
  
• Finishing 1-year Bible reading project and starting a personal, more careful study of the book of Isaiah
  
• Travel (apart from church camp):
  • A holiday Carolinas tour to visit my dad's NC family, visit my friends in the Anderson, SC area, and visit aurora347 and her family in Charlotte
    
  • A long weekend in NYC to do field testing for the theater book and finally meet jalen_mara :-)
    
  • Since I've opted out of Comic Con 2012, tentatively go visit grav_ity in Ontario, and also visit/meet rj_anderson and go to the Stratford festival (I've only just now decided as much)
    
  • A wedding in Michigan, maybe, but the timing is not up to me. ;-)
    
  • Dragon Con
