So I just called Laura and asked if we can put off writing Book 4 until early next year, say February or so. Why? Because between trying to figure out how to juggle my new job, my new class (including HW), my efforts to be healthier, clearing up my little medical issue (which hasn't gone away, btw; calling a specialist this week), and the ongoing familial stress, AND the fact that I'm determined to write this theater book in November, I just need a break. Come home and do something without commitment, like watch TV eps or read a book. I have a lot of reading to get through.
I am going to update By Spangled Starlight Sheen this week just so I can let all my non LJ readers know that the story is going to be on hold for a little while. I knew it was a mistake to start posting it. I had a moment of weakness. I'll be glad when both this fic and my third Jonas/Amelia fic are finished, because the fact of the matter is, my life has shifted beyond fanfic. With two original fandoms on my plate and a busy schedule, fanfic doesn't burn up inside of me the way it used to. But I don't like to leave things open. The fics WILL get finished. It just might take several grueling years a little while.
Anywho, I'm off to watch DS9. Homework's not done yet, but we'll see what happens after mom goes to bed, since she's going to give it a try with me. :-)
