First and foremost, Happy birthday to Veko Confetti and maou_koneko Hope you all had happy birthdays. Secondly, Happy new Year.

Being that this is my first entry for 2008, and in retrospect to the title, most of this entry will deal with looking back at 2007. For the the ones afraid of words, i'll spare you all the details in a cut, yadda yadda, you know how it goes. Anyway, heres a few noteworthy things in no particular order.

- I have a facebook now. http://www.facebook.com/profile.php?id=767283453
- Cut my hair again, almost after a year.
-Went to boston, Madness ensued
-Went back to Vancouver via Washington
-Lost friendships, new relationships, and stronger bonds between them.
-I make more money, work different hours
-Non resolutions and Christmas.

I guess I should start off with boston. I have some pictures of the trip on my facebook. When I get some time, i'll load them onto my photobucket or webspace. For the most part, it was pretty awesome. We rented a Car and just drove from New York To Boston. The ride was about 5 hours. The Downtown area kinda seemed like something out of a movie; with slanted narrow streets, and little service doors, their historical streets are something to definitely marvel at. Either way, we visited a few famous spots, crashed a few bars, and took pictures. It was well worth the time. i plan on going back, just not sure when.

My Christmas was okay. Went over to my aunt's house and spent it with em. Always fun to see the family. New Years on the other hand i didn't dig too much cause it was the first time that i was actually alone. Everyone was either hanging out/at church/work. It was all good though, cause i concidered most of the shit we did in boston pre new years celebrating. For the most part, probably since 2006, All has been well with me. Nothing really big to complain about (aside from the normal grind) and that is always a good feeling. 2008 is no exception...So far. though i must say that One of my pet peeves for the new year has to be resolutions hands down. I mean, why should we wait for the new year to then decide to better yourself? Personally, i think it should be an ongoing process that extends past just the new year. Its why we end up ditching what we set out for, being that we're only motivated to do it cause its a new year; once that passes, so does the goal.

Next down the line would be Good ol' Vancouver. This time, i went via seattle. I met up with Jenelle's aunt, uncle, and her friend Nicole, who then drove us up into Vancouver. This was an exceptional trip for many reasons, definitely too much to list, even for a cut, so i'll spare those details. We went to dinner (an awesome italian restaurant), then the movies. (national treasure part two) We didn't get to do all that we wanted, but fuck that shit, I was just glad to be there. Thats all that matters. Its very tough sometimes, but im proud of the relationship so far, us, and I believe that it will only get better. I did however take a few pics on my way from Vancouver to Seattle. Not of the best quality due to the weather and being stuck in the car, but I got lucky a few times. As for seattle, I don't know if i'll be back there to go through Vancouver. As a last resort option, its okay.

Relationships. Always a lovely subject. I'd say this past year was probably the best in terms of relationships in general, from family to friends. In almost an instant, you can fall out with someone whom you were real close with, and life always has a way of putting someone right into that void. Either way, in light of that I'd say out of all, I really bonded with my father more than anyone else this past year. It mainly started when my mother went on vacation, and then it branched from that. From just sitting at home, and talking shit (politics, sports, women, life) to actually going out drinking together, we've become closer. I hope as the years go on, we can maintain that, even when i am away. Then there's just being too busy, when life takes a chunk out of your social life. It doesn't mean that I don't keep up to date with everyone, it just means that its a bit harder to stay in contact. To some degree, this is one way. With that said, I'll try a bit harder.

On To life itself, things are in a roundabout fashion. Nothing really new going on that most of you don't know about. Still trying to do the same things getting a computer, liscence (both) and saving money. so you know how it goes. I'll discuss the Superbowl/and shitty politics next entry.

Oh and PS, Miyu, welcome to my world of madness. Sorry for the late add too.

seattle, vancouver, life
