Just a quick update I suppose. (Will rename this title later)

So Apparently I have a new schedule at work. My new hours are 10am-7pm. Its really weird getting up this early and coming home by eight. The trains actually run very well during both times (morning and evening) and the ride is about 20 minutes shorter. The only slight issue I have is actually adjusting my sleeping patterns for the new schedule. I guess i'll get used to it within time.

In other news, I am sure that most of us that lives in the US has heard of the latest random mass shooting in a mall about a week ago. I've spoken to a few people about it, and even my old friend that lives near the area. About 9 people died including the shooter. Then we heard about two separate shootings in Colorado linked to the same man earlier this week. Another intersting aspect behind the colorado shootings was that fact that he targeted people outside/inside two churches, both belonging to the mormon faith.

Going back to the Nebraska incident, what pisses me off about these mass shootings is that we spend too much time focusing on the mentally twisted person who decided to carry such atrocious acts out instead of the people who died innocently. The thing is that by doing that, we play into their game. A lot of these people who decide to commit these acts of violence, want their story to be publicized and they want for their little place in history. Although we like to blame videogames/entertainment, its about time that we realize what the true problem here is, which clearly leans more towards the media and a person's own narcicistic tendancies instead of the more convienient scapegoats like gun sales for example.

Another fun subject would be that whole Iran deal. I won't get into too much of that, cause it would take more time than i really have for this quick entry. Long story short, it has now been confirmed that Iran has shut down its nuclear program from since 2003 ; what this really means is that our information network isn't as amazing as it used to be, and especially after the whole Non-existant WMD's fiasco in Iraq, that clearly is the case. Of course you'll have to have a few naysayers titilating at the fact that this could possibly be a ploy and that they really are still manufacturing nukes, but until we can improve the dependability of our intelligence network, the united states definitely needs to tread very carefully.

Last but not least, it is the christmas season after all, and if you'd like a card or something, just drop me a line. If you have a change of address, send me the updated information too. Especially naiteiru and haha_you_missed
