New term

On Monday I started a new teaching period, the hardest of all, because while most kids and teens are out there enjoying summer my students are stucked up with me in a classroom learning science. Not cool at all.

First period, Chemistry I, all of them are taking the course again and some of them were my students last time (they failed the course with me). How cool (or stupid) is that? I hope they really make an effort this time... so I can meet them in Chemistry II.

Second period, Scientific Research Methods (or something like that), these ones are older kids, seniors actually. I'm supposed to teach them how to do (and write) a decent research. This one could be really interesting or boring. Not exactly my type of subject but, hey, it's a challenge. I forgot to mention that one of the boys look just like Alex Karev (Grey's Anatomy).

Third and last, Chemistry II, this one is easier, well I prefer it. One of my old students promised me in his final exam that if he didn't fail, he'll take next class with me and he did. And he dragged his friends too (who where also my students). There's a kid in my class with a problem, a girl told me that he's autistic, I already reported him.

I another note, I'm done with the first four Narnia books and currently reading the 5th one. Those are such great books!!! Can't wait for the movies to come out. BTW, can anyone tell me the name of the badger in Prince Caspian? I read a Spanish translation and usually they don't translate names, but they did with the lovely badger and I'd like to know his original name.

Love,

Sabrina
