Yes, if there were such an award it would be for my livejournal! Maybe my livejournal is boring becaus my life is somewhat boring too :( But right now I can't complain.
We spent the Easter Holiday at my mom's at the southern part of the country and we went to the beach and had fun :D (I even drowned myself in tequila once). Then my mom came back with us and spent ten days here. What can I say about those days? Hellish, she kept complaining and criticizing everything, she just doesn't understand that this is MY home and I don't want it to be exactly like hers!!! She even tried to move some stuff from the place I usually keep them. I tried talking to her but listening is not one of the positive aspects of her personality. She finally left to spent some days with my grandma, and let's hope the next time she comes by it won't be this stressing.
The first period at high-school is over (the high-school I teach at has this special system with three four-month periods in a year, and you can finish high-school in two years), there's this group where most students failed, I felt so down believe me I did my best but ,can you imagine a whole class with nothing but Crabbes, Goyles, and the occasional Ron? Anyway, the rest of my groups did better. Today the principal informed me that they're hiring me back for the next period, in spite of the poor results of said class. Not only most of them failed, but they fill out some forms evaluating me and of course they completely bashed me, and apparently they did the same with all their teachers so their opinions were practically dismissed! Lucky me because I really need to keep the job. Not so bad for my first time with teenagers.
On the same note, I don't know if any or you are in psychology courses or something like that, but I'd love some recommendations on books related to teen behaviour (14 to 19 years old).
My husband turned 28 last Wednesday and he let me dye his hair on Tuesday (he has a lot of grey hair)!!!! His neck looked, mmm, spotted after that, but fortunately it disappeared after two showers :)
