(no subject)
So I have to get to school even earlier tomorrow because apparently they decided it would be a good idea to make a first year teacher the Department Head. I think I get like, 65 whole dollars a year for it? Maybe?
Well, the other ESL teacher has already told me that she's not coming back next year. She's going off to be an elementary school teacher, which to me feels like a cop-out but maybe it's just because I don't understand why anyone would want to teach children who like to put snot on you. Not that there is anything wrong with snot, but I don't want my children to have snotty hands or need me to take them to the bathroom.
So yeah. I wish I was on vacation. On a trip to somewhere I have never been before, or someplace I have been but only now do I appreciate it. Nothing like living in a place named after a thorny tree where the highlight is a weekly rodeo to make you appreciate culture.
