Pinsk, Belarus recap. Now in Krakow, Poland

Yesterday we left Belarus. The six days we were there was quite an 'experience.' Everyone had gold teeth. There front teeth were gold capped. Usually they were gold capped in just a few places, but there were a hand-full of people who had an entire gleaming mouth of gold. It reminded me of DMX ( Read more... )

I. Empty fish/frog from original bowl into a seprate large clean bowl or jug (if cleaning the frog's water make sure the jug or bowl has a lid so s/he dosent hop out.)
A. either do this by pouring the fish or frog and their water directly from the original container into the new clean bowl.
B. or you can fill the new bowl or jug with clean water that is close in temprature to the original water and then ADD THE DECLORANATING DROPS and then sift the frog or fish out with the green net I left you. This method works best with the fish tank.

II. After the frog or fish are out of their original bowl, fill that bowl with water and dump the dirty water from the original bowl. It's easiest to do this in your bathtub where you've got a huge stream of water and lots of space. Fill and dump a few times making sure to swirl the gravel at the bottom of the bowl around so more of the fish or frog poo is released into the water.

III. Fill the original bowl back with water that is close in temprature to the original dirty water. (It's important to do this so the fish or frog don't get shocked by the drastic change in temprature, this can make them sick.) Then add the decloranating drops. Then add the fish or frog back to the orignial bowl...

Really it's a huge hassle to do this and if your just feeding the fish, I appreciate that alone. It's really not nessary to clean the water. Maybe the Beta might need the water cleaned weekly because of its medication, but almost deffinetly the frog and fish tank are fine. The Beta fish should be easiest to clean, and considering that I've taken so long to reply to this, don't stress it if you aren't cleaning it.

I think I would notice if you were to switch the frog or the Beta fish, maybe not with the other fish though... Remember though, even if you unintentionally kill all the fish through severe neglect, I won't care too much.... Maybe if it's all of them I'll care a bit, but if it's just a few that die I won't care at all.

I haven't gotten a pet llama yet. I actually havent seen one llama yet here. I saw lots in Equador though. I've been trying to convince my Dad to bring home a stray pet kitten or puppy, but thusfar it hasnt worked.

No, I really was in Belarus... Reallllly.

Lastly about the gold teeth, according to one of my Dad's friends the reason they have gold teeth is because of basically 'biocompatibility.' Only he gave the reason in more words.

I miss you, Paul. Let me know if you'd like me to pick you up anything particular from PO-land. I'm terrible at choosing gifts for people. Same goes for Nick. Thusfar I'm thinking of getting each of you jewlery boxes. It's because I care...
