How did you get into SPN fanfiction? Fanfiction is a natural progression for me when it comes to entering new fandoms. So, when I started in on SPN last year I pursued fic.

Weekly Goal: Hopefully around 1000, I was doing really well until last week, so I'm hoping to regain a little lost steam.
How did you get into SPN fanfiction? It's pretty rare for me to get involved in a fandom and not get into fanfiction. My roommate and I got into Supernatural around the same time, so we spent all last semester reccing each other fic.

Most fandoms I get into fanfic, too. :) I watch/read/play plenty of things where I don't really get into fic, but if I enter into the fandom realm... well, I'm in fandom for the fan contributions really ;)

It's a blessing and also sometimes awkward having a roommate with the same fandom interests as you. Last year's mini, I asked for filler ideas and bounced around some ideas. She's also read some of my shorter fics I've done since. But now I'm not sure I want her to read my sequel to it xD

Luckily, we've known each other for years, so we're at the point where it's not weird if I ask to her beta some of my more questionable stuff.

How did you get into SPN fanfiction? That is a long and complicated story. Suffice it to say I wrote "Mileage" before I saw one minute of SPN.

Haha, it's interesting how we get into writing things! I started writing last year's mini before I was even halfway through S5 - despite the first 1/3 being set during that season. Haha. ;;^^

Fic can get you interested in something new, for sure. Before I was at all interested in SPN I actually read a CM crossover that was pretty good, still took me over a year to actually get into the fandom though. ^_^
