Monday was family day. Two of my mother’s siblings came to the apartment for lunch and brought associated family, husband, wife, children, mother-in-law. It was great to see everyone. It started out a disaster. I got up at 6 and followed my usual routine, brushing my teeth and checking email on my iPhone. It was supposed to be 30, closer to 31 but I started out the morning with a canceled flight. I had been planning this overnight to SF for a while. There was an exhibit at the Contemporary Jewish Museum that I really wanted to see. If I don’t plan, it doesn’t happen so I finally chose a weekend and went for it. It's easier for me to comment on the present, so I'll go backwards. The weekend did not turn out as expected. I'm back to being non-functional on Saturdays. Going to the market is practically beyond me. I slept and read. Eventually, I forced myself to shower and shop. But I don't like feeling that drained. Sunday and Monday were sunny if not warm. I haven't had the need to wear a bathing suit but my mother and I did spend about an hour shelling on the beach. Not too many shells to be had but it was a nice walk. We've been able to lay out in the pool area. The way their complex is set up, there is a large expanse of patio before you get to the pool. I woke with a vicious migraine on Thursday morning accompanied by stomach cramps and nausea. Not exactly auspicious. But Brenda picked me right on time (actually early which I always appreciate.)
