Wow... so much to write in here. but where to start?
Ok, i've had a completely full on week- both physically and spiritually. You know how camps are- up til midnight, and up at 7.30 in the morning. We did heaps of really cool stuff- sandboarding, ski-biscuiting, swimming, beaching, attempted hair bleaching (don't worry, *my* hair is not blonde, although there's a story behind that.) plus heaps of other awesome stuff. I was in a dorm with my friends Jayelle and Hannah, and... whaddya know- katie and brittany from lakeside. it was quite strange- but really awesome getting to know all these people better, and hanging out with them and stuff. It was so funny- when we went ski-biscuiting, we grabbed a few dead blowies, and put them in the girls' toilets and some dorms and stuff. Man do those things STINK. A fair few others i knew from around the place were there as well, and it was a really great camp.
Although the activities were rockin, all the spiritually stuff was just amazing... like i found it wasn't the stuff that i heard in talks, or even read in the Bible that i found amazing. it was just the atmosphere. we had twice daily prayer meetings which experimented with heaps of different types of prayer, which i'm gonna try to use at the prayer meetings at school this year- i have some ideas. My favourite room was the 'solitude room' where it was pretty dark with candles and stuff, and no-one was talking... it just let you focus on God, and he feels so much more real now. We had a couple of great services too- a reverence service where we didn't talk out of respect for God- and some awesome worship, plus an outside worship service under the stars, where we prayed with a close friend afterwards. I got to know Hannah heaps better, and we prayed for like... i dunno 20 minutes just about heaps of stuff. It was such a great camp, and, like it sorta did last year, it's put me in a great mind-set for Planetshakers. God isn't just a picture in my head anymore... He's real, and he's walking with me.
