I keep neglecting this thing, I am SO out of loop on it....
So its been a while........ lets do a little recap:
Last semester went great. Got all A's and one C+, still have a 3.7 GPA WOOHOO!!!! My last couple classes, my professors have been people who work for some of the districts in New Castle Co. I've already been asked by both Colonial and Red Clay Consolidated to apply when I graduate. I dunno if I want to teach in DE though, education department needs a lot of improvement, as do the schools. Plus, Monroe Twp is expanding again. They just passed a referendum to add onto both the high school and the middle school starting next year, should be interesting. I am glad it passed though, they were talking about having the high school go on split schedule next year if it didn't.
Speaking of WHS, indoor is progressing nicely. We have about 2:30 done so far. And adding more of the show as we go along. We have a real rehearsal facility this year as well, we rehearse in the 5/6 gym in the middle school. Plus we have Blackwatch's floor from last year, which is working out great. I have 13 kids, and thats just fine.
New Years went great. I went to a party at Billy and Andy's house in Riverside, NJ. Paul and I had a hotel for the weekend too. It was great for just the 2 of us to get away for a weekend and not have to worry about anything. Oh, btw, Paul is my boyfriend. We've been dating since 11-26-06. Its been really great. He's 28, has his own house, a really good job, treats me well, and we just have a great relationship. We are actually doing some renovations to the house. I just got done painting the dining room a new colour, and I love it. We are also looking at painting the living room, kitchen, and laundry/utility room. I am actually enjoying doing work, I cannot believe I just said that, but I guess, when you love someone and may wind up being with them, you see a lot of things in a different light.
I got to see Poo this past week. That was great. We could not remember the last time we saw each other. It was great, we hung out and talked and just had fun like we normally did. Can't wait to do it again.
