Paint it black
So, the Man Cave has been excavated, swept, and vacuumed. 2 bags of trash and debris, and one load of dirty dishes. More will be done when the weather becomes more Spring-y and we can open the windows and take stuff either to the dump or to the storage unit. Lee has now relocated from the living room back to the Man Cave. Hopefully, his Important Stuff will now be safe from The Pug (who happened to eat his hearing aid the other day).
First art class is coming up a week from today, everything is prepared for it. Started work on the prep for the other classes. Also working on the Spinning class for MISTI, and the misc. loot and goodies for MISTI. Also working o excavating the sewing corner. Things must be made and mended before MISTI.
And on top of it all, there's a bake sale this Saturday to raise funds for the local family whose little boy has cancer. He's holding up very well considering, but the financial costs to his family has been very high. They have to make weekly drives down to Ann Arbor (round trip about 1100 miles), and they have to stay 2-3 days each time. It cuts into their ability to work as well. Their heating gas was cut off last month, an they've been struggling to catch up on paying bills and getting the heat turned back on again. Their GoFundMe site has been slow. :(
So, I will be cleaning out my baking pantry as much as possible this week, in between painting and usual chores.
At least I don't have a huge pile of costumes to try to make. Just one skirt, and mending some of my own.
