While the numbers are highly partisan - 63% of Republicans say Palin is qualified - the more amazing figures offer a snapshot that shows more Independents saying she is qualified than not - 41% to 31% - and as much as 47% of Democrats either think she is qualified or have yet to draw a conclusion.
This frightens me. It truly does. I have a difficult time believing that my fellow Americans are actually this stupid but then I read things like this and I feel like committing suicide with a spork. It also makes me wish I had decided to procreate in the hopes of helping to balance out some of the stupidity with some intelligence!
