Or, alternately, what are the top ten ships that you'll give a fic a chance for, or that you've been dying to write, or that you've been dying to read.... 1. Major/Batou, Ghost in the Shell. There’s not enough GitS fic, and there’s barely any really good GitS fic. There is some good gen fic and a lot of crap Togusa/Major. Major and Batou have such awesome moments together, particularly in the first movie.
2. Roger/Dorothy, The Big O. This is possibly my masochistic ship. I’ve never found anybody who writes either of them properly, but still I read. I’ll perhaps write someday, but I need to see more.
3. Spike/Faye, Cowboy Bebop. Why are all the fics so goddamn long? I mean, shit. It’s really good authors that do it, too. I can’t help it, I have short fic love.
4. Elsa/Lauro, Gunslinger Girl. Been dying to do a missing scene fic of her death.
5. Lex/Lana, Smallville. I am shameless. The main reason I like this ship? It’s not Clark/Lana. And Lex is an evil fuck, and Lana is hot.
6. Case/Molly, Neuromancer. That one hurts my heart. I’ve never written or read any Gibson fanfic oh, my ass, Amaranth so is but I’m tempted to write this one.
7. Walter/Seras, Hellsing. I have a compulsion. I must read all Walter/Seras. I’m like a crap robot or something.
8. Bellatrix/Voldemort, Harry Potter. Oh, oh my. How I love this ship. I love writing it, I love reading it, I love the power play- ah, nosebleed!
9. Faye/Julia, Cowboy Bebop. This definitely comes under the dropping-everything-to-read category. Once again, shameless.
10. Anderson/Integra, Hellsing. Oh, how it rocks. With the angstiness, and the fallenness, and the hotness… I <3 it.
Analysis
1. I really, really like androids. And cross-gen. But not slash, for some reason. I just… don’t really care for it. Spike/Jet’s about the only slash pairing I ship.
2. I could give a flying fuck about canon. Well… that’s not quite true. I’m all about some canon, just not some canon ships.
3. I'm superficial. And sleepy. Figure it out yourself.
