My friends Peter and Rachel are now engaged! *does a happy dance!*  They plan on having their wedding this summer when they come back to Chicago around the Fourth of July. -  Took a copy editing and proofreading test this morning for a publisher.  I won't get an interview until my test results come back and that's if I did well enough.  I know I missed a word or two spelling-wise, but overall the test was relatively easier than I had anticipated.

- Finally I finished reading Sandman.  Overall I enjoyed it. My favorite story arc was "The Kindly Ones" with a few others coming in very close second.  Art-wise... sometimes beautiful, sometimes grating, and sometimes horribly inappropriate for the story being told.  Parts of "The Kindly Ones" I wanted more chaotic and less rendered while others ( Read more... )
