Our newest family member
So we have a new family member. Meet Gracie! She was originally rescued from NC but wound up in MD. She is an 11 month old collie lab mix. Although she is just a little taller than Rory she is twice the weight. Thank you chunky lab genes!
She does not have her shots yet & needs to be spayed and microchipped. She is also in season. Yuck! So she is spending most of her time in a crate. ( except walks and romps in the fenced yard) At first Rory was a bit standoffish and made sure that Gracie needed to know where she stood in the pack- dead last! But today she played with her in the back yard. I'm so happy she has become a part of our family!
Happy dogs! (As long as Gracie knows her place!)
