Washington DC Fangurl style

May 25, 2009 16:18

First of all, I did not think that DC was ready for us. I am still not sure if they were ready but we came, saw and conquered.  What an amazing time. smalltwndreamer ,
kimmer1227feliciakw What wonderful, witty, fun ladies.  We talked about the boys and fangurled our way through Union Station, ate delicious somewhat authentic Irish Food and giggled  Yes, we giggled.  We also talked about the boys.  Did I mention that?

Sadly, Saturday evening feliciakw traveled back home.  Smishes feliciakw .  You are welcome to come join me anytime!  It turns out we are not too far from each other as the crow flies.

*waves to felicia*

Sunday we walked. Just a hint flisties, don't ever underestimate kimmer1227  and smalltwndreamer .  We walked all over the place.  Who needs a metro when you have three very adventurous fangirls wearing sneakers.  We took loads of pictures, including strange things, like a boy hanging from a lamp post.  Maybe Kim will post that for you.  She and Carol were the photographers.  All I had was my cell.  We did touristy things, and some not so touristy things.

We were gently chastised by DC's finest.  "Girls, no shinanigans now!"  Did we look like trouble makers romping through a park at dark snapping pictures?  Giggling? Hmmpfft.  I doubt seriously that the DC police were terribly concerned, still it was funny that they kind of decided we at least needed a quick talking to.

I think we must have law breaker, skevy, shifty faces because at the Spy Shop they even yelled at us for trying to take pictures of "copywritten material"  Well, fucking la ti da.  I was going to buy something from the International Spy Shop but if they were going to be all grumpy about pictues then forget it!

*sticks tongue out at Spy Shop boy*

Kim and I drank wine, I thought a lot, but it turns out it was not enough.  We never even got to the bootle of Three Blind Mooses.  Doesn't that sound fangurly, Three Blind Mooses!

Ladies, it is still unopen!

Thank you girls for a great weekend.  For the fun.  The laughs and the SPN marathon, only interrupted by a brief interlude with "Dick in a Box" by SNL.  Hee, hee.

Thanks for the Soooper Sekrit Mission.  It is so Sekrit, that I am not even sure I know about it!  *makes puzzled Sekrit face."

So, in conclusion! WOOT.

Loved this weekend!
