The commute I endured yesterday was... well, let's just say it's expensive. And I took the jeep. How would I know that I took the wrong jeep? When I asked, the dispatcher pointed me towards that, and I asked twice. Malay ko ba na heller, mali rin yung sagot nya? Feh. At least I got home.
That commute made me very glad that the LRT is back in operation! It really is very convenient (once you get past the long lines buying a ticket and tolerating the wait for a train, which, IMHO, are just normal). No traffic jams to deal with. The wait time's very short (hindi na aantaying mapuno ang sasakyan). No uneccesary stopovers. No arguing with the driver about the fare and your change. It's clean, it's fast (the Santolan-Legarda trip usually takes about 30 minutes or so). And best of all, even if you're standing the entire duration of your trip, it's airconditioned! Horray for the LRT!
There's the crowd, of course, but I'll bear with that.
