years since I felt like this
Since I started working on my outline/plan/sketch for this Annie/Finnick Hunger Games fic just over two weeks ago, I've written no less than 500 words every day. And there have been at least three days, yesterday included, that I've written well over 2,000 words. Admittedly, not all of them have been on this one fic, but that's beside the point, and that's not including all the editing and refining of ideas that I've done.
The fic sketch is up to about 11,500 words and I'm still not faltering. I have a playlist of songs evocative of the Hunger Games in general, as well as of Annie and Finnick individually and as a couple, that runs a good 5 hours, and I keep adding to it as more songs demand to be included.
I haven't felt like this writing a fic since Scenes From a Liberation and before that it was Left Behind. It feels good. :D
I also made an Annie/Finnick icon, since I couldn't find any I liked. At least for now, it amuses me to picture Chris Hemsworth and Mekenna Melvin as Finnick and Annie, although I've seen (and yes, that is indeed the operative word here) good arguments for Chace Crawford or Garrett Hedlund as Finnick and Olivia Wilde as Annie.
