BTW, if you want to cross post this to a community, beforeyouwrite has been a good place for small fandoms - that's where LD and I have been posting ours since there's not really a viable unit fic comm.

Look at me! Reading fic! It must be the apocalypse. I actually really enjoyed this. I think you caught the tone of their interaction quite well. It's a shame we never really got to see much of their apartment life.

Fic usually squiks me out, but this didn't. I guess because it's not romantic... or at least I didn't read it as romantic! ;) A sekrit slash angle I'm missing, lol.

I've been feeding my Unit vid bunny, but it's kind of running around in circles because I don't know the show all that well, having only seen the eps once. Trying to think of where to pull scenes is killing me. I guess I need to go read summaries on tv.com or something.

That was a very nice piece, it was a great insight to his first time back at the apartment without Hector, and the flashback bits fit wonderfully. V. v. nice, indeed.
