Whoa, that was some ID porn shyte there baby! You added a new layer of depth to the whole griminess and then lathered on lots of Dick-styled love and care. And boy does your explination give creedence to my use of Jason in my own I Understand AU. I use this same trope there but in a more SM style of application. Jason needs the pain to ground him but very few understand this. Bruce didn't, Tim doesn't only Dick and maybe Roy does in the greater fandom (and my character in my own little universe). Wow, I am so glad that someone else sees this adn that I'm not the only voice in these woods.

I really couldn't let the little series end without a look at how Dick saw all that. In this 'verse, he and Bruce (and others yet to be determined :p) will do anything Jay needs, b/c they love him and care about taking good care of him, whatever that entails. (Of course, Jay reciprocates by giving them whatever they need, too. ^_~) It's not nearly as BDSM, but the basic idea is the same, even if the application differs. Jay just really needs to work out his issues regarding his past in his own way, to exorcise his demons, so to speak, and playing at the role that he'd fallen into at a young age helps him do that.

Oh, Dick. Go ahead and break my heart, why don't you? Though I do have hope that this time, with the new elements introduced in Officer Grayson's behaviour the night before and his treatment of Jason, that perhaps Jason may have worked through all of this now. Perhaps not, but if not, then maybe reciprocity means it's Jason's turn now to give Dick what he needs: endless cuddling and snuggling and praising and playing - not to mention energetic and acrobatic sex. ;)
