“What are you doing, Sho-chan?”
Aiba bounced into Arashi’s green room, efficiently disturbing Sho in whatever he was busy with at the moment. The rapper looked up at his bandmate almost scared and hastily tried to gather the papers he had scattered all over the table.
“A-Aiba-chan… What are you doing here? Don’t you have location shooting?...” he asked stuttering, his cheeks heating up with embarrassment.
“We finished earlier than expected” Aiba answered beaming proudly.
Sho felt himself relax just from that smile alone and couldn’t help but smile back at his bandmate as well. He knew how much it frustrated Aiba that he messed up the most during their shootings. It’s not that he was a bad show host; on the contrary, he was over-excited most of the time which caused his mishaps most of the time.
“Congratulation’s in order, I guess then” Sho said on a slightly teasing tone.
Aiba simply ignored the teasing and skipped closer to Sho.
“So, what were you working on, Sho-chan? Zero?” Aiba asked, curiously peering at the papers in Sho’s hand which the older man almost forgot about.
“No, it’s not. It’s… private…”
If Sho thought this answer would quench Aiba’s curiosity, he thought it wrong.
“Oooohh! Show me!” Aiba said with sparkling eyes; obviously ignoring the meaning of the word ‘private’, and reached for Sho’s notes.
“No!” Sho jumped from his seat to back-off from his bandmate but it was too late already to escape. Aiba’s curiosity was picked and he was determined to find out Sho’s secret by getting his hands on those papers.
It only took a few minutes of chasing around the green room before Aiba managed to trip Sho.
“Uff…” Sho groaned in pain as he was pushed to the ground.
Aiba settled comfortably on Sho’s thighs to pin him and grabbed the papers from him.
“Good boy!” Aiba said grinning at Sho victorious.
‘I’m not a puppy you treat on Doubutsuen!...’ Sho wanted to say but managed to get out a pained groan only. He tried to push Aiba off of him but his friend didn’t budge of course.
“I can’t feel my legs…” Sho moaned but Aiba ignored this as well, busy reading through Sho’s papers. This sight was enough for Sho to forget all about his pain. “Give it back!” he cried out but Aiba pushed Sho’s grabbing hands away.
Once Aiba finished reading, he lowered the papers and looked at Sho with wide eyes.
“You wrote me a letter…” he whispered astonished.
Sho just turned his head away, blush creeping up on his cheeks. He refused to say anything in reply.
“You wrote me a love letter, Sho-chan!” Aiba clarified insistently.
“That’s a very sorry excuse for a love letter but… yeah, it probably look like one, I guess…” Sho finally admitted. “I’m sorry, you probably wouldn’t want to read something like that from a friend. So… if you’d be kind enough to give those back and get off me, I promise you’ll never have to hear about it” Sho said with as much dignity as he could muster in his current situation.
Yet Aiba refused to budge from his seat on top of Sho.
“Does Sho-chan think I don’t love him?” Aiba asked innocently, curling his lips in an adorable pout.
Sho had to avert his eyes from the tempting sight and he said nothing.
“But I do love Sho-chan too…” he said simply.
“What?” Sho looked at his bandmate surprised, eyes wide with bewilderment.
Aiba just giggled and nodded.
“So, will you kiss me finally?” he asked with a cheeky grin.
This was a request Sho had no problem obeying…
