GETTING OUT OF HERE!
I have finally made the decision, which has been a long time coming, to leave New York. I'm moving back to Michigan for now, with a goal to eventually make my way out to San Francisco. I'd like to get out of here by the end of June. So I have a few questions for all of you:
1. Does anyone want to take my room?
It's in a 2BR on the upper west side (Amsterdam Ave & 88th St). Really nice neighborhood, 2 blocks from the park. My roommate is awesome, very easy going, and he has a delightful little dog who will become your best friend. It's about $1000 a month.
2. Does anyone have a car they need driven from NYC to the midwest?
3. Who will volunteer to help me move out?
The exact date is flexible, but once I do borrow or rent a car, I could probably use some help loading it up. It won't take very long, and I have no furniture, just boxes and stuff.
