It seems livejournal made some changes again and I am not happy. Some of my layouts have a journal title. But when you click on an entry the entry title now shows next to the journal title: http://incheons.livejournal.com/2615.html

I have seen it done (maybe it was on a smooth sailing layout) but I would like a sidebar that is hidden and pops up when you hover over it. Or one that extends.

Can this be done?

EDIT: Yes I did sort of but can it also go smooth and not like in the live preview incheons. And can it be hidden?

I am using a custom layout on my journal and on the main page, no grey block can seen but if I click on my entry and view it by itself, there's a grey block that appears where ' Previous | Edit | Tags | Memories | Share | Track | Next " area is.
