Nav bar, spiffy date confusion.

Hello there, I'm relatively new to FS and am still getting use to all the wonderful coding that goes along with it. Yup, that sort-of did it. I did like how it was above the box on the first page, but this is so much more for what I hoped for (by working and all!) so thank you so much. Also, because of fixing it the blue color went back to f3f3f3 like it was set at. =)

I know I spend hours looking for things in all the wrong places. I use Absolute Color Picker which helps me identify random colors that show up on my page, so when they don't come up in the CSS it does confuse me quite a bit. I'm happy its worked out though. Sometimes settling due to lack of knowledge is an inevitable truth, I just need practice.

Thank you very much for helping me though. I've only had to tweak this code maybe 8 to 10 times since I started learning it, and I'm more familiar with Smooth Sailing, and that took me days, weeks even.

Now a tiny bit is missing from the bottom of my .date_dateattime. I tried playing with the padding and margin for that class, but I seem to be missing something because I only made it all worse, so I went back to the original code you posted for me.

hmmm... it seems to only be doing it in I.E., as it looks fine in Firefox. However, here's the screencap.
