I worship at your feet. Seriously :)

For .reply and .commentinfo, you've hit the same problems that I did last time I revamped my stylesheet. I think it might have concerned obsolete code, but I'll ask to make sure.

(You might want to fix the link to the second part ;) )

*blushes*

Thank you and I fixed it! =)

.commentinfo isn't the only one that seems to be nonexistant, I also couldn't figure out .sbarheader and .subject a, .subject a:link, .subject a:visited and .subject a:hover . (couldn't find a link in a subject anywhere, when does there ever appear one?)

Any ideas? =)

Re: .subject links
LJ-user tags. There's a bug in the reply page though, as it has .datesubject but not .subject.

When you put one yourself :P LJ usernames are links, too.

Good remark about .sbarheader. No idea. I'll ask about this one, too. :D

Wow, this is amazing. Neta, and illusrated too! Link to the second one ponts to the third section. Expect comments on your post clarifying certain things, but I didn't see any problems when I skimmed over it.

I'll be tagging it and adding it to memories as well ;)

Thank you so much; this is a wonderful resource!

Thanks, and clarifying comments would be amazing! English is not my first language and sometimes I just er...let's say I don't always know how to express things ;)

It is not obvious :)

You've done an amazing job explaining things. A few minor points though:

.box
--> sometimes has a clear:left/right in it that gives people problems. Not sure it's appropriate to add it here, but it might be possible to add one line about watching out for clearing in the .box?

code
--> Personally, I prefer using pre with code when I want block-level code blocks. That way, I still get to keep my inline code formatting. Advantage of pre is that it prints out code exactly the way you write it, keeping the whitespace and disregarding the line breaks. This is a disadvantage with long lines of code in narrow layouts ( ... )

okay, sorry this is late but I had to get my own layout done. (Can't really use an old S1 layout when I have a S2 community :P )

Anyways...I changed and added a lot of the stuff you commented on, but I still have a few questions:

code
--> Personally, I prefer using pre with code when I want block-level code blocks. That way, I still get to keep my inline code formatting. Advantage of pre is that it prints out code exactly the way you write it, keeping the whitespace and disregarding the line breaks. This is a disadvantage with long lines of code in narrow layouts ;)

How would I use pre and code together? Wrap pre around code? I've never done that, so I'm kind of clueless.

Noticed an extra tr in part 2 :)
I know, but I can't really locate it in my entry code..must have mixed the tr's up somewhere.*sighs*

er...thought I had more questions but I seem to have forgotten.

Brilliant! I've added it to the community's What's New section and it's also in the comm tutorials, so it should get the attention it deserves. I can all too easily imagine the massive amount of work you put into this. You're a star!
