font embedd and gap

Account Type: basic

Problem/Question: I'm trying to embedd a font using this tutorial. However I can't get it to work. I want my header links to have a differnt font.
There is also a gap between to entries because one is pushing the other down. How do I stop that from happening

Do you happen to use Firefox? For security reasons, Firefox does not allow cross-domain custom fonts (meaning fonts hosted on a domain different from the domain being used).
