Altering the Appearance of Ads (Plus)

So my paid time ran out, and now I'm back to having ads on my journal. And the colors of the ad box thingie clash horribly with my layout, so I want to change their appearance.
Specifically, I want to remove the border, then replace the blue background with the main background of my layout, which would make the ad box thingie pretty much invisible (I have AdBlocker running since the ads on livejournal slow my laptop down).
How would I go about doing this using CSS?
ETA: Sort of solved, still need to figure out how to remove the border...anyone?
