As mentioned in this post in suggestions, this code will generate an alphabetical index of your tags horizontally at the top of your tags page. Each letter is a link to the first tag in your list starting with that letter, so clicking on it will scroll the page down to that tag. UPDATE (2008/04/25): The print_comment() function in this post has been updated to allow the use of the "expand comments" link, which was previously unavailable in custom layers.

Since questions still come up about how to hide various links, and since I know of two good techniques for it, I thought I'd compile it all into one tutorial/How To post. Depending on your account level (Basic/Plus/Paid/Perm), there are two primary methods to employ: CSS or S2 code, each with their own advantages and disadvantages.

Not to step on nimoloth's similar post, but I've always thought that the date and time printing function could be simplified a bit. So, here is my take on it, which I'm sure could be streamlined a little more.
