Whoa! They've
remade the
1983 tv mini-series V! *dies laughing* I loved that show...in 1983...when I was eight, LOL. My mother and I watched it religiously, and she made popcorn.
And while all the other little girls on the playground were chasing/being chased by boys, skipping rope, or having tea parties under the jungle gym, my friends and I were playing make-believe, acting out episodes of the show and making up our own. A beautiful little girl with shiny black hair named Tirzah (also a lovely name) and I would get into fights about who would play Diana, the leader of the Visitors - both of us wanted to be the badass evil female commander, LOL.
I dunno what's more interesting the idea of seeing what they've done with the show, or the idea of seeing Morena Baccarin play "Anna" (Diana). I was pretty impressed with Baccarin as Adria on Stargate-Sg1 (terrible, terrible writing in that last season notwithstanding) - she does Crazy Scary Woman pretty well, I think.
Sometimes I miss television. Maybe my BFF will let me watch the pilot episode on Hulu on her new Macbook. :)
Favorite comments on IMDB's V webpage: Will they still be lizards? and Have they learned there's a crapload of water in space since 1983? LOL!
