FBLA Trip
Orlando was a fucking blast. Best trip I have ever taken so far. I didn't do outrageously crazy shit up it was straight. I guess it was the atmosphere and the people I was around. I learned to get along with certain people as well. OK so the highlight of my trip. I took 1st place in Java Programming. I got a HU-FUCKING-MONGOUS trophy that comes up to my waist. I also get to go to Orlando again to compete on the national level in June. All I needed was a cash prize in my event. I could have had $250 but there wasnt a sponsor (I think Sun Microsystems will be hearing from me just in time for nationals). The bad part is that I can't compete in Java anymore. So I guess I'm gonna take up C++ or Visual Basic for next year's competition.
I chilled with my Java buddies (Camilo, Leonard, Mike) and with my 1241 neighbors (Karina, Estefi, Alexis and Steph aka "April") and my crazy ass smuggler buddies (Tony, Thomas, Albert, Charles), pretty much the whole 12th floor. Fun times. Too much to list.
Can't wait till nationals!
NOTE: If you ever go to Orlando for 4 days, take more than $55 if you plan to do more than eat. I learned from experience.
