Time FIies...
I've been thinking lately, in 6 months I am legally an adult. I feel like I'm getting old even though I'm still considered to be young. If you think about it, if the average life span is 75-80 years, then we have already lived 1/5-1/4 of our lives. Kinda makes you think where all the time has gone. And it seems like time keeps accelerating. It feels like just yesterday I was a freshman. Look at the time now, we are 3 months away from the end of junior year. 1 more year and then what? College for most, real world for some, major changes for all. I guess time is getting to me.
In other news...
Weekends suck nowadays. I was talking with Luis, and he mentioned a very good point that I totally agree with. A while back people used to look forward to the weekends for all the great parties. Now people look forward to the weekend because its 2 days away from school. What happened? Where are all the "Rambo's Jams" and $3 keggers that everyone and their mother used to be at and would talk about 3 days in advance and 3 days afterwards? Shit man, this is Miami, party capital of the Southeastern US. So where the fuck are all the parties? I'm starting to think that kids in places like Idaho, Iowa and Montana are having better weekends than we are. Scary thought, I know =(.
Poker nights man. How bout them poker nights? Weekend passtime and a ajor source of my weekend spending. I need to stop making Jessi a rich man. Curse these seasoned poker veterans. I need sucky people to play with to make some $$$. Anyone interested?
I've been so lazy this quarter. As of right now, I have A A C C F F. I had a shitload of work to do this weekend and I didnt do shit. Oh well.
Track is the shit. As opposed to football, I actually like going to practice. I'm chilled out and relaxed and I work at my own pace, AND the coach is chill too. He tells us what to do and we go do it ourselves. I haven't seen him bitch at anyone once. As a result, we have a kick ass track team. We smoked the fuckers at the meet this past week by a longshot. I think if the football coach was the same way, we would be district champs. Well I can dream all I want right?
At least this week is more eventful for me. I got a few trips coming up, and they are all to central Florida. I love going up there. Hopefully I'll go to USF and I can be up there longer than a week at a time.
