Ive joined a few communities on here in search for some like minded people who shares and holds common interest as I do. Ive tried the Question communities only to be disappointed. I see many retarded questions such as

I find that people have been getting more ignorant as time goes on.
Perhaps it is our society which is partly to blame. You have these 'umbrella parents' here trying to protect their children from everything in the world. You have a society that is more worried about being politically correct and catering to a person's feelings than the truth.
In school sports there are no losers, everyone is a winner. One thing which upset me was what I saw to be a failing in our education system.
Teachers are no longer allowed to correct spelling for young students as it may make them afraid to try in the future.
Now I am not saying that this is a law for all schools, truthfully I do not know, but the fact that it is a rule in as many as it is is a tragedy.
When I was younger, I was always that girl who sat off in a corner by herself unable to relate to her peers. I was the one with her nose buried in her book, unaware of the latest trends. I never had many friends. I spent so much time thinking, watching, wondering that I often felt lonely and alienated.

About the school system, its all up to how the teacher teaches. There is no rule books on how to teach and discipline a child. Some teachers will push you because they want to motivate you. Some just dont care. Most people will blame the school system for failing because they hire and fire these faculty so if theyre not doing their jobs, the human resources gets the blame. Many times, parents would complain about how their kids are learning but the school district either ignores it or they just lie and tell you its worked out. Everything should be fine...
Its sad, if you ask me. The parents these days are just as bad as the school system. They just think that they can toss their kids in to these schools and they learn everything from discipline to education. The disciplinary part should be cope with at home. Think about it. If you send your bad ass child to school, these teachers will just ignore them or get sick of it because they are human too, the problems repeat itself.
Its not even the society itself. Its more of what goes on in the home. Whatever they learn at home is what they will bring into the world. I have to say my kids are good kids, not base on just my opinion but because Ive seen how they interact at their age. I dont allow them all the non sense on TV. They get quality times with me. If the school work is there, we sit around and talk about school work. We have drawing time. No matter how busy I am, we will do stuff together. I use to tell them, if they were good and clean up. Well go to the zoo or the museum and the promise is kept. It sounds boring but as a parent, youre suppose to make them LOVE these outings. Kids love anything that makes their parents happy. Have to start them off good in this world to have them grow up into a bright person with a good personality. They see negativity but I would let them know that those things can be changed. Nothing stays negative unless you want it to be.
It sucks that most people would rather just toss their kids to the TV and expect them to be able to stay quiet through that kind of entertainment.
