random things
so i went to nyc with my mom, i got back two weeks ago (thats how often i update my lj heh). it was amazing. we walked SO much, seriously, we walked at least 4 hours a day hah, but there were so many things to see and not enough time!
also i never knew clothes could be so cheap, we bought so many stuff lol it was nuts. in comparison we thought food was expensive and not very tasty.
i got to meet karo, you know karo from naff. she's really cool and super friendly and she took me and my mom to a nice restaurant. we also met my dad's cousin and aunt, they live in nyc for about 10 years. and now cousin is getting married in september in a castle in france and she invited us and i'm really excited, i hope i can make it. especially 'cause i've never been to a wedding.
the only thing that annoyed me a little is that my mom doesn't speak english, so i had to do everything for her and translate everything.
now i'm back to são paulo, it's winter break, i'm still working in my internship. it gets boring sometimes and it sucks to be here all alone, when all my friends are away, but oh weel at least i'm making some money. also my apartment doesn't get any sun and the thing i love the most is the sun. so i just sit at home depressed wishing i could be in lying in a very sunny field. oh i wish there was a central park in são paulo, i'd go there everyday! there are no such parks here, there's one actually but it's far and i don't have a car and by bus it'd take like 30 minutes to get there.
ps: i wish lj had a writing corrector thing, like the one in ms word. i always confuse the past form of the verbs to think and to teach. so im sorry for any grammar mistake. but karo told me my english was impecable and that made me happy!
