here and back again, the state that i am in
Aaaaahhh ohmigod today has been a crazy day.
Last night was the league track meet, so not only was it every team we've been up against, but also the boys. I only had to throw shotput thankfully, so I was basically hanging out. It was fun, but we got back to the school at 10:20 PM! Plus driving a girl home, I got back at 10:45. Ate dinner, took a shower and jumped straight into bed but it was still 11:30 by the time I got to sleep.
Today was the AP English test. I thought it went quite well - maybe better than the history. All of the writing prompts were about the disintegration of morals in our society, I swear. Then, we had to go to French after hanging out in the courtyard for a while, but our teacher was being really insensitive and giving impromptu quizzes, etc.
Then, track practice, but it's the last so we just ran to the beach (about a mile). On the beach, Marie gave me AMAZING news that made my MONTH: She found my IPOD!!!!!!!!!! I about cried. Okay, granted, she had it because her brother was going to buy it from this sketchy kid, but she saw my name on the back and recognized it. Aaahhh I love her. So now my iPod is back to me, missing the Edward Gorey sticker and the music inside, but otherwise happy to be back. :) It's a good thing I went on the German exchange with Marie - she's a sophomore, so otherwise I wouldn't know her. But yeah. Ohmigod. I am so happy. It canceled out the French class thing. Then I tried to do cartwheels because I was so happy and the sand was a good place to try to learn. I got kindda close (ish).
We all went to the coach's house for a spaghetti dinner and ate lots of good cake and had silly conversations and now AP History AND English are over and I can just bask in having an iPod and an extra piece of cake......
