Blessed be the humans on the other end of the phone!

I had a long talk with 'John' at Paypal this afternoon about my business account and all of the transactions that are held 'under investigation' and are keeping me from running the business of sending out CD orders (because the hundreds of dollars that should be in my account are all on hold right now and I can't pay for postage), paying my drop shipping manager, paying my Kevin, and paying my bills.

At one point I said to John: Every single one of these transactions was for CDs at a show, and I have dozens of witnesses for each of them who'll attest that they were authorized by the account holder, who was standing there at the time and typing in the information.
He replied, "Do you have contact information for all of these people?"
"Why yes, yes I do."
"Call them. Get in touch with your customers and have them call us, and we can expedite this."

John was a dear, very patient and gentle. Stealthcello, for her part, told me that my composure was admirable.

It was after I got through the carousel ride of the automated system and got a human, anyway.

So. Those of you who bought CDs from me using Paypal, either at Conflikt this weekend or at Soulfood last weekend, this is for you.

This was the number I called this afternoon.
I was able to get a time frame on when my business account transactions (purchases made by all of you) would be cleared up: up to ten days.

From Sunday afternoon at 4pm, which is when they spazzed.

Ten days is killing my business.

Orders can come in, but until I get the something like $700 back on the positive side and off hold/out of investigation, I can't send them out.

If you want to help that change, call the number above, talk to a human, and get your account unlocked. That will, hopefully, clear the transaction (again) in my account that you made, they will LET ME HAVE the money that you sent me, and rainbows will appear in the sky.

Thanks so much to all of you who were supportive in comments, sharing stories and phone numbers and giving me encouragement. I feel a bit better today.

*edit, 8:12pm Thursday* It's working!! Nine out of the total 21 hosed transactions have been fixed since I started emailing all my customers!!
