Feb 10, 2010 14:34

L. A. greets me with sunbeams this afternoon.  The cat and I are pleased.

Just got a wee tiny concert in North Hollywood confirmed for next Thursday, and I wanted to make sure you guys knew.  I'll be telling the mailing list in a minute:

Thursday February 18, 2010 - around 8:30 or 9pm

Meeting begins at 7:30pm, though activities begin around 6pm.

but not for huge hordes," and the meetings are
very open to newcomers.

This weekend I'm at PantheaCon in the Bay:

SJ will also join in Come As You Are Coven's

with the beautiful Sharon Knight and other wild and witchy guests

Can't wait to see old friends and make new ones here; so far I'm part of the Wake Up to Spirit ritual, and the Lupercalia on Monday at noon as well.  I'm gonna work as hard as I can not to miss anything....except for Ivo's Friday night program item, which I'm scheduled on top of. :(

Don't miss the accompanying bake sale!

Any or all of these three shows stand at least an incidental chance of becoming Tricky Pixie shows at the last minute; at any rate, they're gonna be loads of fun.   stealthcello will be joining me no matter what.
I also look forward to some actual rehearsal, some actual recording (for "Mischief"), and seeing cadhla  again that week, as we get keyed up for Consonance in Milpitas.  WOO!

Btw, several people have said very kind and complimentary things about all three of my Arizona concerts last weekend, and I'd like to say thanks.  I had a terrible cold the entire time, and I was quite concerned that I might not sound good at all.  I appreciate all of the lovely and creative descriptions you've offered of how I did sound.  In fact, I think your words may have cured me of the last remnants of this silly virus.  Thank you!

Back to the grindstone.  I am mixing a song today for a time-sensitive project, and so I must hide and get back to it in order to get it done.  Hanging out with our host and hostess is planned after work, but other than that, I'm gonna be in face-laptop-headphones mode.  Love to the outside world, regardless!  It's very pretty out there today, where we are.

music is life, birthday, lady vagabond, i went to california, los angeles, san francisco, upcoming shows, san diego
